FAIRLAWN, OHIO, February 24, 2010 (NYSE: OMN) – OMNOVA Solutions’ Specialty Chemicals business today announced a price increase of $0.06 per dry pound for all GenFlo®, GenCeal®, OMNABOND™, GenCryl® and GenCal® styrene butadiene based emulsion polymers. The increase is effective March 1, 2010 for all specialty markets including coatings, tape & adhesives, nonwovens, textiles and construction, and is in addition to previously announced increases. It is necessitated by the continuing escalation in the costs of butadiene and styrene petrochemical feedstocks.
